Here is some information for anyone with a PC:

Microsoft has announced an exclusive free upgrade to Windows 7. When you purchase a PC on or after July 1st, 2009, with Windows Vista preinstalled, you are eligable for a free upgrade to Windows 7 as soon as it is release.
